2015 Southern Institute

Greetings from the Southern Institute in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. Kasey and I have had a wonderful week getting to meet so many of our United Way friends from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee. We presented the keynote address, Make Change With No Excuses, on Tuesday afternoon, and two breakout sessions on Wednesday. Kasey presented the session Connect With Your Next Generation of Donors, and I presented Three Essentials for Effective Community Impact. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to share our research and ideas, and that the information was helpful to so many of you!

We want to thank the United Way of North Carolina, United Way Association of South Carolina, and United Way of Greenville County for hosting this wonderful conference. A special thank you goes to Anita Barker, with United Way of North Carolina, who worked with us to coordinate our presentations and made sure everything ran smoothly.
