Meet Perspectives
Welcome!
Everyday, we at Perspectives wake up with one goal: To help United Ways be the best they can be.
Perspectives was founded in 1989 and over the course of the last 30 years, we’ve worked with over 130 United Ways around the United States and Canada. Basically, we’ve seen everything. And we want to share that knowledge and experience with you!
Bryn Bogemann
Consultant
Bryn brings her degree in public relations and her years of experience working with United Ways together to provide guidance and support to United Ways across the country. Passionate about United Ways and the work they do, she has a special interest in how United Ways can work to better attract younger donors and the idea that every United Way should have an issue focus.
In her free time, Bryn loves to listen to copious amounts of podcasts ranging in content from true crime to current events. On any given weekend you can find her sifting through antique stores and thrift shops looking for amazing deals and unique items. All of this is done with about a gallon of coffee, of course.
Gary M. Goscenski
Consultant
Gary focuses on guiding United Ways in adopting the issue focus model, which he created in 2011. He has helped United Ways transform their work through research and strategic planning, things he learned from his marketing and management degree as well as nearly a decade in the news media. He is a frequent speaker at conferences where he is known as “the crazy tie guy.”
When he is not changing the world one United Way at a time, he goes bicycling or running, dabbles in woodworking, and plays Scrabble. He is a big fan of disco music and believes dark chocolate should be the fifth food group.
