I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream

Who wants some Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Caramel Swirls, Toffee Crunch and Dark Chocolate Chips?

This flavor of ice cream is called “Community Strong” and it sounds delicious!

As United Ways across the country are doing campaign kick-offs and starting their annual fundraising campaigns, United Way of the Midlands (Omaha, Nebraska) will make your mouth water during their campaign with their “Community Strong” ice cream flavor, which is available at eCreamery during the month of September.

eCreamery is based in Omaha and offers customized flavors of ice cream, gelato, and sorbet. The “Community Strong” ice cream flavor is available by the scoop or pint at eCreamery’s only brick-and-mortar location in Omaha, and it is available to order online, as well. One dollar from each pint purchased at the parlor and $10 from each collection (four or eight pints) purchased online supports United Way of the Midlands.

United Way of the Midlands is also hosting a community ice cream social at eCreamery on Monday, September 28th, and United Way of the Midlands will receive 10% of all purchases for the entire day.

FUN FACTS:

• United Way of the Midlands held a competition among their staff, and this flavor of ice cream was actually developed by one of United Way of the Midlands’ staff members!
• United Way of the Midlands did a taste test at their office – yum!
