These statistics are short and to the point – they explain the issue and the action community members can take to help make a difference, and they lead the community members to each United Way’s Web site.
A great, unique way to share these quick statistics is to include them on unique marketing materials. We found two articles about unique marketing methods being used, which we think would be awesome ways for your United Way to share information with your community.
The first unique marketing method we found was to display information on a coffee cup sleeve: http://2d-code.co.uk/coffee-cup-sleeve-qr-code/
The second unique marketing method we found was to display information on a SmartBox: http://2d-code.co.uk/qr-code-smartbox/
By including quick statistics in a unique way, and by including a call to action for your United Way (by including a URL or QR code to your Web site, blog, Facebook page, Twitter feed, etc.), you will not only spread awareness about the issue you are addressing in your community, but will gain donors, advocates, and volunteers for your United Way as well.
